Aha! Found it
So, you know the famous photos of the Beatles in Harold’s Cafe in Hamburg (62 years ago today, 28th September 1960)…
I’d seen a few people say that they wished John and Paul were sitting next to each other, and it always bugged me because I was sure I’d seen a version that showed they couldn’t even keep their eyes off each other for one photo.
Well, I’ve finally found it!
Apparently this was Paul’s copy that he sent to Dot, so presumably the “Hello Madame” is a message to her (link)
But how very Paul to send his girlfriend a photo of him gazing at his boyfriend.
